How certificates and the register work in Celebrant Central
The declaration, the Form 15 certificate from your own register, and the official certificate, each printed and marked from the ceremony record, then the fourteen days after the day counted for you.
Part 1, the Notice of Intended Marriage, followed the Notice from send to received. This film picks up from there: identity confirmed on both sides, the declaration of no legal impediment, the Form 15 certificate assigned from the celebrant's own register, the official certificate, the last checks on the day, and what happens after it, all on the one ceremony record in the real app.

Identity comes from the couple's side too. They upload a document in their portal, and the celebrant confirms it on the ceremony's Legalities tab, where every legal step lives.

The declaration of no legal impediment prints from the ceremony record. The couple sign it in the celebrant's presence, and the celebrant marks it.

The Form 15 certificate comes from the celebrant's own stock, and the law wants a record of every one used, so the app keeps the register in Settings: what's available, what's been used, and what's been archived. A new batch is entered once, when certificates arrive.

Back on the ceremony, a certificate is assigned from that stock, with the ceremony's date, the celebrant's name, the location and both partners already filled in.

Printed, the certificate carries the assigned number, and the register already knows which number went where. The official certificate is printed and marked the same way.

On the day, the last checks: the celebrant confirms nothing on the Notice has changed, and marks the couple's own reading as done.

After the day, the paperwork goes to the registry within fourteen days. That's the celebrant's job to do, and the ceremony's own task card counts the days down, synced to the Legalities tab as the paperwork moves along.

The register keeps a record of every certificate used, for as long as the law requires. The celebrant does the legal work; the app makes sure nothing on the ceremony is missed, and nothing is guessed.
